The FAMILY APP
The XUXA app is designed to enhance family connection and foster inter-generational communication, bringing your family closer together.
How do i get started?
First Time Users' Guide:
- After downloading the XUXA® app from your app store, Click the Sign Up link at the bottom of the home screen.
- Fill out your basic personal information. We need your birthday to prove that you are an adult. If you are under 18 years old, you will need an adult to join and then invite you.
- An Adult can create a Family Group-they are now the Administrator of that group. (At this time you can only be a member of one Family Group. In the future you can be in more than one.)
- Under My Group, you can see your existing Family Group Members. Click the + symbol to invite more family members. They will be emailed a code to join. If you are under age 18, the adult group admin can create a username and PIN for you to log in on your own device. (Sorry for the extra step but we are trying to keep kids safe!)
- We recommend that you leave Notifications turned on. Each morning you will get a notification for the Photo Challenge theme for the day.
- As family members participate, you will see a blurred image of their entry next to their name. All images are revealed at 5pm for lively dinnertime conversation!
- We ask that you are patient with any shortcomings, this is our first release and we are going to make it better and more fun with every future release!
How do i PRONOUNCE IT?
Everyone asks 'what is a XUXA?' and how do you pronounce it... so here's your answer:
XUXA is a latin word that means "lily" - like the flower. It is pronounced "shoo sha." Just repeat that a couple times and you'll remember it forever!
